Jointly with the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF), a series of regional forums on central / local e-Government is planned leading into an international Summit in March 2011 in the UK.

The first forum has been confirmed for Sydney, Australia with follow-on forums proposed for Africa, India, the Pacific islands, the UK and Americas.

CivicTEC is piloting a Civic 2.0 initiative in partnership with Parramatta City Council in Sydney, Australia. The pilot includes hosting a consultative forum in parallel with with the Federal Government's Realising Our Broadband Future Summit.

Latest news | Formal launch

Stay tuned for the formal launch of CivicTEC in Australia. CivicTEC has been incorporated as a not-for-profit association in NSW and, after almost 12 months in the planning, will be launched at a 'link-tank' gathering of representatives from State and Local Government, the research community and business as well as technology thought leaders and community organisers.
